Huotong Town is located in the northwest of Jiaocheng District, Ningde City, Fujian Province, 47.7 kilometers away from Ningde City. It has 1 neighborhood committee and 24 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. Huotong River traverses the whole territory and has been the main transportation route for timber and bamboo in Pingnan and Zhouning counties since ancient times.
