Inari Lake

Lake Inari is a lake in northern Finland and the largest lake in Lapland. It is close to the border between Russia and Norway and within the Arctic Circle. From November to April of the following year, the lake is covered with ice. Walk on the thick ice-covered lake and enjoy the beauty of thousands of miles of ice. On this frozen lake, you can play snowmobiles, various polar sports, and watch the aurora at night.

The scenery of Lake Inari is very beautiful, the blue lake, the white clouds in the sky, and the surrounding green hills reflect each other, and the scenery is super beautiful. Boating on the lake, I feel that I can't tell the difference between the sky and the lake. It really feels like a person is swimming in a mirror.

We live by the lake, the lake is very calm, and we saw the aurora there at night, but we can’t see the two aurora groups. In fact, I don’t need to go to the aurora group, just find a place without any light pollution. It can be seen, if there is an aurora that day.

There are hiking trails by the lake, so I don't want to go too far for half an hour one way. There are cranberries, blueberries, cloudberries, and little squirrels along the way. There are scheduled cruises every day. There are few people and quiet here, but the weather is generally rainy. Participating here is much more expensive than Rovaniemi, so it is not recommended. The key to seeing the aurora lies in the A p p forecast and cloud cover. There is a high chance of seeing it by the lake in the middle of the night.

Autumn in Lake Inari is particularly beautiful, and the northern lights are seen by the lake at night. In addition, there are many places to hike here, including going to the Wilderness Church, and picnic hiking along the Juutua River. The scenery is beautiful.
