What travelers say:
For East Bay folks, this is a great complement to the Exploratorium. There's something for everybody. A lot of hands on stuff. And volunteers showing different stuff every week. And connected to hiking trails as well. Plus great views.

I took my 4-year-old and 6-year-old to the Astronomical Museum. Show is available at 2, 3 and 4 p.m. It's all English, and many astronomical terms are too esoteric. Children are more interested in the area where children play. Close the door at 5 o'clock. Recommended. Personally, I think it's good. Adult 18, children 141.
Very good, beautiful and generous, really great. I've seen a lot of good scenery. It's really terrific.
A special Museum of astronomy, worth learning
