Oita Prefectural Art Museum (OPAM)

The Oita Prefectural Art Museum can be set off from Oita Station, about 15 minutes, but we drive by car, so drive, there is parking lot, free within 30 minutes. The appearance of Oita Prefectural Art Museum is very modern and full of art, but unfortunately the exhibition is not very attractive, so there is no admission.

The Oita County Art Museum is a modern building, the exterior design and the block corridor are integrated, the interior is designed with large area glass, so that the art museum inside and outside the body bright, warm and soft, full of artistic sense. When we arrived, there were four or five exhibition areas on the second floor of the museum, which exhibited art works of a certain artistic level, especially this time I was fortunate to enjoy the Fushi Painting Master Gechuan Guangzhong and Suzuki Chunxin and Ge Shi Beizhai's Fushi Painting in the Edo-era Museum of Art in Japan. The authentic artifacts also admired the unearthed pottery and other exhibits of Andean civilization. Great!

Ban Mao of Dafen County Museum of Art wants to design a "backyard" art gallery that has no sense of oppression and can attract pedestrians to step in at any time. Therefore, in the first and second floors of the building, a spacious atrium and coffee space are opened. In addition, in order to avoid pressure, glass material is used on the exterior wall of the building, and the front door is even designed as a horizontal folding type, so that the whole street and museum are integrated. Museum details can make people feel a lot of unique culture. For example, the lattice design of the upper half of the exterior wall reminds people of the traditional bamboo craftsmanship. The oblique support uses Chinese fir produced in Dafen County, while the vertical support is combined with steel bar and fire-resistant laminated timber to prevent fire. In addition, considering the possibility of water immersion, the height of the first floor of the museum will be raised by 1m, and the electrical equipment will be centralized on the roof. Fig. 567 is a variety of games sculpted with four mirror stainless steel letters of OPAM. Fig. 9 is a folded opening along the curtain wall door.

In fact, the design of visiting Banmao in the evening by OPAM is quite clean. The application of straight lines and arcs is very comfortable. The shape of complex curves in important parts also highlights the soft side in the hard form. In the evening, the combination of sky light and lighting makes the lighting effect of building space more brilliant, and various reflections of metallic glass are beautiful. Figure 9 is the lobby outside the top floor exhibition hall. The hyperbolic wooden lattice ceiling always gives me an illusion. Carelessly entered the exhibition hall, Lao Wen's day encounters almost repeat on me (embarrassment) (snickering). The old lady of the staff took me to the front desk to buy tickets with great courtesy. Fortunately, the front desk staff understood English and avoided a robbery.

It is a very beautiful facility with a glass-walled, open feeling. There is also a free corner where you can enjoy it.
