Original Text
It is located in a park in front of Okayama City Okayama Chuo Junior High School. It looks like a land related to Mitsumasa Ikeda. It was very beautiful.
Mitsumasa Ikeda was a lord who was active in the early days of the domain administration, and is known as the person who built the foundation of the Okayama Ikeda domain, so a monument will be built by the site of his retirement. It is said that it will be the site of Nishimaru, a little far from Honmaru, opposite the Okayama Civic Hall and RSK Sanyo Broadcasting Corporation. The Tenshu Kaku was destroyed by war damage, but fortunately, Nishi Tegata, a part of Nishi no Maru, was away from honmaru, and escaped the war and remained in the past.
A small stone pillar and an explanation board stood in front of the entrance to the old elementary school and the gate. I couldn't find anything else that could be called a remains, but it was a place close to Okayama Castle in the first place, and some stone walls remained.
