The City of Olympia is the capital of Washington State and the county capital of Thurston County, Washington. The city was established on January 28, 1859. There are more than 40,000 residents.
Olympia is located at the southern end of Puget Sound. The city adopted the New England style when it was planned and constructed. Therefore, the current city style is deeply influenced by New England, and the designer Sylvester is also revered as the father of Olympia.
The Washington State Capitol in Olympia is located in the city center. There is a group of statues in front of the building to commemorate those heroes who sacrificed their lives for equality, justice, and freedom. The Parliament Building and its surrounding areas have formed a well-known sightseeing area, and the magnificent Parliament Building has become the first choice for tourists. As an important cultural center in Washington State, it attracts many artists, painters, and musicians every year.
E42***94I’m from California, so seeing this was a site to see. I appreciate their COVID awareness rules and being so up high was so much fun. You also get to take a picture with your group and get it emailed to you for free, which was a nice little addition to your trip. the price is reasonable and you get to take pictures upon pictures. Definitely will be coming back.

The museum mainly displays his large-scale glass art works. The Chihuly Glass Art Park exhibits are divided into indoor and outdoor areas. The indoor exhibits are mostly the works of Master Del Chihuli that have been popular for many years; the outdoor exhibition area is dominated by a 43-foot-high glass exhibition hall with an area of 4,500 square feet. The exhibition hall displays a 100-foot-long glass exhibition hall by 1,400 Suspended sculpture composed of pieces of glass. There are also many large-scale glass artworks in the park, which form a peculiar glass garden landscape with plants and flowers.
