Observation Deck
Those with a fear of heights might want to skip the bison tenderloin at the top-floor revolving restaurant of Toronto’s CN Tower, one of the world’s tallest buildings and a Wonder of the World for the American Society of Civil Engineers. Opened in 1976, approximately two million visitors arrive per year to scoff at gravity along its glass-floored observation deck, 342 meters above the ground. The tower currently transmits television and radio entertainment for the Toronto area. More importantly for travelers, it offers some amazing views of the city, especially at night when the twinkling lights of Toronto are unveiled in panorama.

Castle
Built in 1911, Casa Roman Castle is a private mansion of the famous financier Sir Henry Pellatt. There are dozens of ornately decorated rooms in the castle, mysterious towers, deep tunnels, large horse stables, and hidden dark passages. An elegant greenhouse, and a beautiful garden built on a hill, the garden is open every summer. The medieval armor on both sides of the corridor, as well as the crackling wooden floor in the old castle, is a time-staggered feeling, as if it were in a giant mansion a hundred years ago.

Museum
The glass, aluminum, and steel main entrance known as “The Crystal” is often ranked among one of the stranger-looking buildings in North America. The exterior of R.O.M. is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg when it comes to unique and interesting things to see here. Whether it’s world cultures or natural history that piques your interest; the multi-tasking museum has prehistoric mammalian fossils and ancient artifacts from around the world included in its forty galleries which contain a total of over six million items. There are hands on galleries and temporary exhibits as well. A full day can easily be spent here and you needn’t even leave for meals. There are three different dining options within the complex to choose from.
