First there is no parking for this site, we had to park in a pediatric office lot next door. Then we walk the sidewalk to the site to find out its fenced in and you have to call and set up a tour.
As mentioned, this attraction is only accessible by booking a bus tour through the Ormond Beach Historical Society. The tour is very good. This is the last stop. We were impressed by how the site ...
There's just a roadside marker mentioning it and no place to pull over and go exploring. It took a couple of drive bys and a lot of attention to find the marker.
Off the beaten path & accessible only by docent from Ormond Beach Historical Society, easily missed!
It is a lovely old part of Florida. We enjoy the ride there in our car or on our bike . The canopy of trees is lovely shade on a hot day.
