In the early morning, we are also the only guests in the store. The seats in the store are grass mats, and you can only sit on your side without taking off your shoes. The white rice, stewed spinach and pickled cucumber in the front desk are all self-service and full of tuber.
After a short wait, it was our turn. Give the order voucher to the waiter, you can be seated, and our tired legs are finally redeemed. Its ramen noodle soup base is mellow but not too oily, which is still very suitable for the taste of Chinese people. The meat in the noodles is a little bit too much, and girls with a small appetite may not be able to eat it. .
It was so good! We loved it so much we went back 3 times just for the ramen! The broth is perfect and the noodles were cooked so well
I was having this ramen twice, once on the street corner, I forgot the location name but it has no chair so we must stand while we eat (facing big street). The second time was the main one at dotonbori. Why I'm having this ramen twice is because when we eat the first one, it was amazing! Eventhough the man was alone at the stall but it was perfectly executed! The meat was thin and tender and the broth just was just right. That's why I was curious about the main one, I expect better but turns out not that way. The meat was thicker and not as tender as the first one and the broth was not thick enough. Maybe because more crowded there (wait for half hour). If you travel alone or just a couple its best you try to reach the standing stall. Worthy.
Delicious tonkotsu broth with two choices on the ramen ticket machine: pork (chashu) ramen and more pork ramen. Three choices for condiments: garlic, kim chee, and greens. Seating all outside on tatami mats above ground. Drink choice is water. Sounds simple but the soups are not. Very flavorful, creamy tonkotsu broth. Slightly sweet pork slices. Delicious condiments, particularly the deceptively powerful garlic. Noodles may be too soft for some, but for me it was nearly al dente (I've visited at least 10X). Absolutely MUST TRY while in Dotonbori. Perfect after-soup treat? Go around the corner and get the Turkish ice cream with the free show.
After my day trip to Nagoya I made my way to Dotonbori and was looking for Kinryu Ramen but Google Maps led me astry. In the end I gave up and walked along till I found a place, Gourmet Map, which tells you what restaurants to go to. I asked the guy for this place and it was right behind me! There was the large 3D dragon. Sources say Kinryu Ramen is open 24hrs. You order from a vending machine, get a ticket, queue for a table, then eat quickly. I was hot walking around. I was wven hotter downing a bowl of noodles and tasty but still hot broth. Big bowl of yum!
This one is characterized by a good mix, the soup is not as good as others
