A well kept and moving historical site
We really enjoyed are vistit to Søsterkirkene and the surrounding areas. The staff in Mariakirken was very helpfull, and the art exhibit was really moving. Highly recommended.
Sister Churches
Very nice experince to be able to see two 900 years old churches that are still full functional and being used as normal.
Interesting buildings and grounds.
The churches were closed during my visit but interesting architecture and gravestones. Good views from the raised site.

Beautiful place
We were in the area for the wedding and got to look around the churches as well. From here you can also walk the Natur or kultursti (nature and culture trail). It is about a 4 km walk to the next old ...
