288***50This is a cemetery built for the Northern Army soldiers who died in the Civil War. Thousands of corpses that were buried nearby were collected. There are several very large old trees in the cemetery, as well as several exquisite tombstones.

288***50This is the earliest ironclad ship in the United States, relying on it to capture Fort Pillow during the Civil War. But it was later sunk by a remote-controlled landmine from the southern army. It was salvaged in the 20th century and put on display in a military park.
