Angel loves beautiful passion chocolate!! Love the French flavor of the two films, and also like the "Cafe des Deux Moulins" from the movie to a cafe called "Double Windmill". His chef is the 2007 European Sugar Art West Point Championship, a variety of desserts can be called a perfect!
Movie Angels love beautiful filming locations, so the entire coffee shop is in that style. It is full of stills, and of course many fans come here to check in. The taste and environment are ok, and the price is not expensive.
The filming location of "Angels Love Beauty", many people went to Paris to check in. Emily’s pictorials are everywhere in the cafe. Movie fans come from all over the world, just to experience the scenes in the movie.
we went to the cafe because of the movie “Amélie". The food was only acceptable, but it did not spoil the moment we enjoyed from the movie, with big posters hang on the wall, the bar Amelie worked behind and the mysterious restroom. The service was good with energetic and enthusiastic waiter and waitress. If you go for the show Moulin Rouge, a moment rest in Cafe des Moulins is highly recommend before the show. The cafe is just 5 min walk away from the theatre.
Cafe des Moulins is located very close to Pigalle subway station and Moulin Rouge. After a sunny day in Sacre-coeur, skip the funicular and walk down the road. You will find the cafe in one of the streets going down to Pigalle. The cafe's interior was changed if you compare it with the movie. It is easily understood that much of cafe's fame comes from the movie as none of the food or drinks are attractive. The prices are at Paris standards, which is generally expensive. If you are a fan of the movie, you will like the place, if not I would not recommend.
The food was fine, the service slow but not rude, and I did enjoy the Amelie nods. However, the toilets were especially grimy, with one loo sans lid and no hot water running (the tap was jammed) and the entire restaurant could do with a bit of a revamp. As an iconic destination restaurant the decor could have been either truer to the film, or just a bit cleaner all round. I'd dine elsewhere.
Walking all the way along the Montmartre Heights, I saw this shop with good looks, I guess it is also an online celebrity shop. The floral wall and wooden style are really beautiful. It is really pleasant to sit here for an afternoon tea and watch the street view.
