Flavoursome, filling and pleasing in every way. Bring your appetite if you plan to make it to dessert. Try not to fill up on bread between courses you will be sad if you miss dessert. Comfortable location away from the main fray, a gem of a find. Not located on a main road. Opens at 7.45pm and there are bars not too far away if you want a pre dinner drink, but don't eat the peanuts or olives. You'll need the room for dessert. The restaurant is comfortable with English speakers and can offer an English translated menu. The pate is excellent, rich, buttery and creamy. The poultry served with Morell mushrooms has a sauce that is lightly flavoured with a blue cheese. The trussed beef is a stew with vegetables but the beef can be medium rare. There is plenty of bread, but you won't get to dessert if you touch it. The nice part was that we could get extra vegetables on the side and it was nice to have home style carrots, spinach and puréed swede. Well worth finding this one! Two starters, two mains, one dessert, one coffee and two glasses of wine 100€.
