It was our first night in Paris and we just wanted something close to our hotel, Opera Drout, and we found this place. Our meals were excellent and very reasonable for Paris that is. I believe our total was 44.50 E&#39;s for a steak for my husband, and I had a chicken dish, desserts, and wine for both of us. There were not many people inside and quite a few at the bar or outside. Our service was a bit slow, but overall it was a good local place to go. Not a lot of English spoken.

The food was really delicious, the service kind and efficient! The place is really small but the experience is so great that you forget it!

It is a famous cheap gourmet restaurant in Paris. Bouillon Chartier has a taste of home. Recommend red wine yak beef, a traditional dish for French families, with small tube macaroni. This is a traditional way to eat in southwest France! And his beef is very, very soft. There is also oil-sealed duck legs, which is also a very traditional dish. The meat is not firewood and very fragrant. The foie gras sauce for the fore dish is very greasy. You can order other! The dessert is the Norman specialty apple smoothie drizzled with Calvado. The apple sour and sweet just neutralizes the greasyness of our big meat. Very satisfied surprise.

Did not expect an elegant place, but at least good food based on comments/rating. Among all, ravioli looked radioactive and tasted worse. Won&#39;t go again for sure.

We found that little restaurant close to Opera area! The delicate atmosphere made it so &quot;Frenchy&quot; we had our dinner upstairs the indoor has nice decoration with blue and grey fabric. The waiter was super kind explaining all our queries about the French cuisine in English. The food was delicious and the wine made it incredible! The price was a bit overrated but in general was a nice experience. Thank you again for the great service!

The welcome was warm and service prompt. The food was great and we were offered a free night cap which was a cognac, a very nice touch. I would happily recommend it.
