The Hotel de Ville was finished in 1628, nearly a century after construction began. Currently, it houses the City of Paris's administration. The building's style is a contemporary interpretation of the Renaissance, a grand building sitting just a few minutes from the Seine. The regal inside includes crystal chandeliers and extravagant paintings. Its exterior is equally stunning, particularly at night, when the building shines with light.
ICE SKATING IN FRONT OF THE DRAMATICLY STUNNING DE VILLIE HOTEL IS BOTH FREE AND FUN.SKATE TO YOUR HEARTS CONTENT IN HIS WONDERFUL OPEN-AIR-ICE RINK.THERE IS A SMALL DEPOSIT FOR LOANING THE SKATES WHICH IS REFUNDABLE UPON RETURNING THE SKATES.PLEASE NOTE IT ONLY OPERATES FROM NOVEMBER TO EARLY FEB EACH YEAR.
Take a tour inside and see the magnificent decorations. This place is a must see! In the winters, Hotel de Ville even has an ice skating rink outside.
its the ancient city hall of Paris. Its really gorgeous and worth of visiting so many times.
The City Hall of Gothic architecture basks in the sun in the square and watches the children's happy bubbles. Weekend performances of strange behavioral arts are taking place everywhere in the city. People rush to the streets. Bridges on the Seine River next to the City Hall are crowded with water.
