Eaton Canyon is family friendly and pet friendly. The Canyon Trail is located at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, a three-mile hiking loop just a short distance north of Pasadena. The trail is relatively easy, and well-behaved dogs can hike with their owners without having to be on a leash. This scenic trail is also suitable for a quick short day hike, and the waterfalls and wading pools are also well worth a visit.
