Xiaoming Building is located in Pei County, Jiangsu Province. It was built in 1919 and is listed as a key provincial cultural protection site. It combines characteristics of western architecture and of eastern gardens. It uses a combination of Chinese and Western techniques to demonstrate the cultural exchange that occurred between the West and China in the early 20th century. It is an L-shaped building divided into upper and lower floors that are separated by wooden boards and is one of the few Western-style buildings preserved in Xuzhou.
