Platypus reserve minus the platypus
Google states that the reserve closes at 5:30pm, however there was a sign that said it closes at sunset which gave us more time than we thought. Plenty of car parking spaces. Toilets and picnic spots ...
Platypus Possibility
The ferns are beautiful & is a good spot to see platypus. Patypus are nocturnal so it's better to come in the morning or evening. A relaxing location.
Pleasant surroundings near to the City
A lovely reserve and picnic area near to downtown Burnie: a lovely short walk along the river with the possibility of spotting platypus. Good parking and amenities available.
