I did this as part of a tour and you really don&#39;t need to spend a lot of time here. We used a car to get up to the view point. It wasn&#39;t crowded. The view is spectacular and you can see the different islands from there. I would also think the sunsets from here are glorious having witnessed them from the beaches. Something to do with the family or part of a day tour. 

We chose the 9pm and bought the ticket for VIP at the door. Would recommend sitting further back towards the center for a nice full view of the stage. Very entertaining musical show that lasts an hour. The show has a zero tolerance policy for no cellphones and no camera&#39;s so you really get to enjoy the show and take it all in. The perfomers go outside after the show for pictures. Be careful of other performers also getting into your picture as they will also want a tip (100 bakt) even if you just wanted it with one person.
