Not a massive temple, but for sure, a lovely one! The architecture is vividly coloured with intricate carvings and paintings. It&rsquo;s very quiet &amp; peaceful. There was barely anyone around. I had the whole temple to myself on a Chinese holiday. If you&rsquo;re visiting Tangqi old town, you can check it out! It&rsquo;s two streets away from the Grand Canal bridge there.

My friend and I spotted this restaurant from our taxi and headed there for lunch. The food there defo wets your appetite 🤤 Everything we ate was absolute mouthgasm🍜🦐 

We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, papaya salad & spicy calamari. My Pad Thai was so delish 🤤 The papaya salad was fresh while the Tom Yum was a bit sweet with a hint of coconut flavour! The spicy calamari were super spicy 🥵 but the sauce was yum! 👌🏼 I ordered the plant dew drink with ice which was a saviour for my mouth! We paid 212¥ in total.

The service was great! 👍🏼 My friend had dietary restrictions and the waiter was very helpful with suggestions 😃 The interior is nice, very modern and clean. I highly recommend to check it out when in Nanjing!

Getting There - a didi, bus, car, bike, anything you prefer is okay…. You can pick according to your preferences 
Attractions -  there’s so much to do here, I would highly recommend you do it with a group of friends, it’s so adventurous and peaceful. There are quad bikes to ride up the mountains, for over 5KM, there’s go-karting, there are horses, there’s bbq, there’s alcohol and a variety of drinks to pick from…. Sometimes at night they even have music bands to entertain the place with some fire whilst you roast bbq, the time I went it was a bit cool, but they also have boats to use obviously during summer, this place is an all in one combo! I would definitely recommend to the whole world if possible.😂 it’s so fun and they are so friendly, one thing I love the most are their services, they were so kind and caring to me regardless of my race or nationality. 
Hotels -  there are hotels nearby, I was actually staying in one of the hotels close by
Food & Restaurants -  I’m not sure about restaurants because when I went, I had already eaten but the place has shops to pick bbq from, aswell as some snacks if you need, and junk stuff like icecream and more….. 
Shopping -  it’s kind of in the outskirts of Nanjing, so I wouldn’t say much in terms of the shopping complex’s but one thing I know is that everything I needed at that particular time was available….. but it’s not too far from the town, I’m sure just about a 10 minute drive will get you back to the town so if you want to shop, that’s the best place to go….

Overall, I loved it here, you really have to try it out! It’s massive and a fun place to go and be in….

Shuinan Temple is tucked in a street a few meters away from the Grand Canal bridge in Tangqi old town.  I spotted it while walking along the main road, thanks to its colourful architecture standing out among the buildings! 

It isn’t a big temple, but it’s surely a lovely place to place away from the busy old town. Ironically I went there during Chinese Labour Day holiday and had the whole temple to myself! Unbelievable 😍 If you want to be somewhere quiet and peaceful with a colourful 🌈 architecture and intricate paintings and carvings, this is the place to visit. Bring your camera 📸!

Let me take u on a virtual trip to a breathtaking resort that I recently visited🌴
Prepare to be mesmerized by stunning views 🤩 , turquoise waters 🌊& unforgettable adventures 🧳.

✈️ Day 1: Arrival and First Impressions ✈️

As I stepped off our ride 🚖 into the tropical paradise🌴, a gentle breeze 🌬️🍃welcomed me, carrying the scent of exotic flowers 🌸 💐My eyes widened in awe as I marveled at the lush greenery surrounding the resort. 
It was like stepping into a postcard-perfect world.
I quickly settled into my luxurious accommodation 🏠 overlooking a the infinity pool 🏊‍♂️ 

🚤 Day 2: Diving into the Water Marvels 🚤

Today was the day I took my adventure to new depths. Equipped with my swim wear🩳, I joined the crowd to dive into the mesmerizing infinity pool 🏊‍♂️ 
Descending into the turquoise waters, I found myself feeling like a fish 🐠 in the big blue sea 🌊 
After my long swim 🏊‍♂️ I went into a cave with a ♨️hot spring to relax 🧖🏾‍♂️
Rented a car 🚘 in the afternoon and went exploring the little town.
Came back for dinner and went for a drink in the bar after that.

🌴♨️Day 3: More Hotsprings  ♨️🌴

There’s a reason hot spring is in the name of the resort 🌴There’s lots of them in this place and I went to the other side with a whole array of them. Spent the 3rd day play all sorts of water 💦 activities including the water slides 🛝 it was a fun day.
I played some golf 🏌🏻⛳️  and archery 🏹 during my afternoon tea break ☕️ where they served delicious delights 🍰 🧁🥨😋
My Night was spent in their gaming arena where they have lots of arcade games 🕹️ 👾  like race cars 🏎️ toy slot machines 🎰 ,etc…

🌴👋 Day 4: Farewell, Paradise 👋🌴

Alas, all good things must come to an end.
Today, I bid farewell to this enchanting resort🌴 but not without carrying memories that will last a lifetime.
 The incredible experiences, the friendships forged, and the sense of peace 😌 and serenity 🍃that I found in this slice of paradise🌴

The tour included pick up and drop off from your hotel, lunch 🍱 & snorkelling 🤿 . (We were staying near Ao Nang beach) Lunch had a few local side dish choices with rice which was pretty good & filling. 🙂

The four islands are 
🏝️ Koh Poda - Phra Nang Beach & Cave
🏝️ Koh Mor - Relaxing beaches where we had lunch 
🏝️ Chicken Island - Not accessible but they’ll take a picture of you on the long tail with the Chicken shaped rock as backdrop.
🏝️ Koh Tub -  Fine white sand beaches and an islet accessible only during low tide.

💰 ➡️ We paid 1000 baht per person 

The Four Island tour is great if you want to island hop and make the most out of a boat trip. However, it also felt rushed and we didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy one place at a time to the fullest.

Ao Nang beach is conveniently located at the heart of Krabi; a wonderful holiday destination for beach lovers.

Ao Nang beach has soft sand and brilliant mountains in the background. Taking a stroll along the sand and admiring the boats is bliss. Spend hours lying on the sun beds and eating coconuts sold from the various venders.

Hotels along the coast aren’t too expensive and this is a great choice for a beach and relaxation trip.

Koh Tub is the last island I visited during a four island day trip off from Krabi. The views were spectacular 😍 and not to mention the beauty of the clear blue waters 🌊 merging with the blue sky. The island is a remote piece of paradise🏖️ with an islet accessible by walk 👣 in the sea only during low tide.  You can chill on the beach there or swim in the sea. 

If you want to chill there, book a day tour to the islands online beforehand. The starting point is from Ao Nang, Krabi.

Recommends ➡️ Bring some snacks 🥨🍘 and drinks 🧃 with you. There are no restaurants or shops.  The beach doesn’t have a lot of shade and the sand is very hot 🥵 a beach mat & flip flops 🩴 are essential!

Sukaitai Thai Massage spa is such a great choice if you’re looking forward to pamper yourself in a relaxing atmosphere 😌 The interior really feels like you’re in Thailand! I went there twice for a 60 min essential oil massage 💆‍♀️ It was rejuvenating! 🥰 I  was offered 🍵 and some snacks on arrival. You can choose among lavender, lemongrass or a floral scent for the essential oil. After having your feet scrubbed and washed, you’re lead to one of the massage rooms where you can also take a shower (if you want) before your spa. Afterwards, I was treated with some tremella soup, tea and some fruits. The spa is very clean and the service is great 👍🏼 I highly recommend booking online beforehand. They also have 90 mins spa massages.

Began Vegan is located in the old Bangkok area a stone’s throw away from Wat Pho Temple. They have a variety of homemade dishes, bakeries, desserts and coffee. Everything is vegan. I had their Pad Thai & a fruit with ginger mocktail. Pad Thai was delish 🤤 My mocktail was so refreshing! I went back another day for a ☕️ latte and a chocolate cookie 🍪 for tea time. It’s also the most affordable vegan food I had in Bangkok. Highly recommend it! 👍🏼

           Latte & cookie - 135 baht

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sindhorn Kempinski in Bangkok and was fortunate enough to experience their Executive Suite. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was captivated by the sheer elegance and attention to detail that permeated every corner of the space. The hotel had a very unique architecture, which felt equal parts between an architectural marvel, a museum and a hotel.


The Executive Suite at Sindhorn Kempinski is truly a haven of luxury. The spaciousness of the suite immediately struck me, providing an ample amount of room to relax and unwind. The contemporary design combined with warm, earthy tones created a soothing and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the vibrant city.


The en-suite bathroom was a true highlight of the Executive Suite. It exuded opulence with its marble finishes, spacious bathtub, and separate rain shower. The indulgent bath amenities provided a touch of luxury, and the plush bathrobes and slippers added an extra layer of comfort. The bathtub was big and comfortable and they provide bubble bath ingredients and a loofah to better enjoy your bath in the tub.



As a guest of the Executive Suite, I had access to the exclusive Executive Lounge, where I enjoyed a range of benefits, including personalized check-in and check-out, complimentary breakfast, and evening cocktails. The attentive and friendly staff in the lounge went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience.


Overall, my stay in Sindhorn Kempinski was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious amenities, impeccable service, and breathtaking views made it an unforgettable experience. Whether you're visiting Bangkok for business or pleasure, I highly recommend treating yourself to the indulgence and comfort of Sindhorn Kempinski.

It was my first time catching the colours of the spring blossoms at Linping Park & it was lovely 🌹🌷🌸✨ The park has a nursery as you walk up with different variety of flowers, each colourful & gorgeous. 

It’s the perfect spring picture spot 📸 I’d highly recommend arriving very early. This part of the park is where most people flock for pictures 🙈 It’s extremely packed there on the weekends especially in the afternoon 🫣 Go very early and you won’t have to despair for a picture spot 😉

Hangzhou Linping Mountain 360-degree rotating greenway lights up, in the night look gorgeous. The new entrance is specially designed to be a rotating greenway. Citizens circle along the 360-degree panoramic greenway, you can see the mountain and the city from all directions and from multiple angles.

Blessed with the warm spring days lately, but also the beautiful blossoms popping up in parks across the city. This resort exceeded our expectations! We stayed there for 3 nights in Krabi and loved it! Panan Krabi Resort is a great choice not too far and about 10 mins walk to Ao Nang 🏝️ It’s easily accessible from the main road. It’s also very family-friendly 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 with food and drinks 🍹 very decently priced! The breakfast buffet was a mix of Thai, Indian and western options. Honestly, everything we ate was yummy and the service at the hotel was extremely good with friendly & helpful staff! We booked a room with pool view. The room was clean and very spacious. The balcony was such a lovely spot. The whole atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing 😌 

Facilities: Two adult pools, kids pool, gym, pool bar, sun beds, free towels by the pool, kids club, restaurant.

Extras: Fire Show Saturday night by the pool & they offered us a packed breakfast since we had to leave very early on the last day. You can also consult the reception to help you book transport from the hotel to the airport. They also have coffee and cakes of you want to indulge at tea time! 

If you stay there, don’t forget to check out the second  adult pool on the rooftop! The view there at sunset was unbelievable 🌅

Chaoshan Scenic spot is a lovely spring spot for blossoms. The park is massive and seems to have gotten better! You can now rent tent spaces and have your own picnic there. There’s now a cafe/restaurant near the Plum blossom museum which opens at 10 am. They have indoor & outdoor seats. I had my breakfast there and got a hot chocolate and a cheese croissant 🥐 for 52¥. Unfortunately I went on a day when the weather was quite dull, cold & windy, but during sunny weather days the park is full of visitors. You may want to go early. I reached at around 8.30 am and there was barely anyone around. There’s also a big area with tents selling food & entertainment for kids. It’s surely a family-friendly place 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The best time to see the blossoms is end of February to beginning of March. I went mid-march this year and most of the blossoms already fell off.

The entrance 🎟️ is usually 10¥, but it was free when I went (Mid-march).Opening hours 🕰️ : 8am - 5pm . I went by taxi 🚕 from Heyu Road line 9 🚇 station. The ride was about 20 - 25 mins.

Railay beach is among one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and definitely also the most beautiful in Krabi. It’s such a gorgeous place with a gorgeous view. Fine sand, blue waters and such a relaxing atmosphere! It’s the place to chill 😎

I spent a whole afternoon there and here are a few tips:
👉🏼 It’s only accessible by boat . I took a boat from Ao Nang beach.
👉🏼A one way ticket 🎟️ to Railay beach from Ao Nang: 100 baht. 
👉🏼Most people tend to stay under the shade in front of the resort, but if you venture to the other end, it’s quieter and less crowded.
👉🏼 There are monkeys 🐒 near the resort by the beach, be careful with your belongings❗️
👉🏼The restaurant by the beach is part fo the resort, thus pretty expensive. We went to eat at the food street with other restaurants, local food stalls and cafes. Lots of affordable options there!

Koh Poda is a popular island part of the Krabi Four island day tour with the Phra Nang caves as main attraction. The cave is home to the legend of an Indian process who was lost at sea. It’s a well-known praying spot for couples who wish to have kids. Phra Nang is also popular for rock climbing 🧗‍♀️. The beach is gorgeous with a stunning view of the sea and other islands peaking in horizon. I recommend heading there early if you don’t want to see the crowds. We reach at around 9 and it was already very busy! You can relax, swim & chill there. You can also walk to the famous Railay beach from Phra Nang cave beach.

This beach is a very beautiful photo shoot, or going to sit and watch the sunset, it is equally beautiful. There is a shrine of Phra Nang Cave to pay homage to. There is a cave full of back stalagmites and rocks. Emerald green water, super beautiful
