A hotel&#39;s western restaurant, so the environment is super good, this time I came here for lunch, there are not too many people, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and eat, very comfortable.

Very nice restaurant in downtown Perugia. It is a fixed appointment during our yearly visit to the city during the Xmas break. Food is always good quality and the service is great. Recommended.

Excellent service in a beautiful garden! All of the staff were pleasant and attentive.The Burrata salad was superb, fresh and was large enough to split among two people. Beautiful presentation.! The pasta dishes, ravioli and truffle gnocchi, were some of the best we had ever eaten. . The cod fish with sauce was not very good. While I appreciate the stewed fruit  in the sauce, the quality of the fish itself  was lacking and overpowered by the sauce.. For dessert, tiramisu was very good, the cr&egrave;ne with caramel was so delicious!  The Apple dish unfortunately tasted like it been reheated in a microwaved too long. It was tough and dry and no cr&egrave;me to be found.Overall, we had a wonderful evening at La Rosetta!

So&hellip;I guess this should have been obvious if I had paid attention to the name of the restaurant&hellip;but this restaurant&rsquo;s menu centers around fancy meatballs. Which, you know, can be fun if done right. There was quite an interesting selection, and we tried the shrimp special and veal w/mushrooms. Food came well presented, but taste was just ok. We didn&rsquo;t leave completely satisfied, but other than more meatballs, not sure what else to get. Service was a bit slow, and unfortunately while waiting the nearby table ended up having a couple people smoking that kinda ruined it for us.

Very good, professional and will really recommend.  Food was exquisite, well presented and delicious and the service really excellent giving a very warm welcome.

Good stop for a lunch break two steps away from Perugia&#39;s main square. Good value for money  (even more so with the Fork promotion)!

Our B&amp;B host recommended this place and not finding anything else that looked particularly good, we booked a table for the following night. The Bottega is warm, friendly and has the feel of a neighbourhood wine bar. There is a small printed menu but there are many daily specials which the waiters will tell you about. The waiters are helpful and friendly and will translate to English if required. The food was most enjoyable - and over 2 visits we sampled some delicious entrees, salads and pastas as well as wines. There is a great range of wines including a wines by the glass.

Bottega del Vino starts off in the right way ...the building is just right, so funky you just might not notice it. It does not draw attention because it doesn&#39;t have to do so. This place is so comfortable serving a terrific range of wines and not all expensive by any means. To accompany your choice of wine the small kitchen (their words) offers a relatively limited but changing menu.... Don&#39;t worry there are a good list of options mostly featuring typical Umbrian fare. Great range of starters and an interesting bunch of pastas for primo and the secondi usually of 3 or 4 dishes. The portions are generous and you are likely to be given a couple of &quot;pipe openers&quot; before you get a menu. Prices are quite reasonable. Gourmet ? Not really but certainly you will enjoy the comfort and conviviality added to by excellent table service. After our first night we paid the bill and booked for the following night !

The service here was excellent, on the night we went. We had wine at the bar and several snacks while we listened to the live jazz. Great spot and very nice atmosphere.

Some have this listed as a wine bar, we went because it served good food based on a locals recommendation and werent disappointed. The wine list is big - we went with a cheapie &quot;by the glass&quot; at &euro;3.50 and it was perfectly good. The menu isnt printed (the only reason I dont give it 5 stars) as it changes with the whats locally available and fresh. The ragu as a prima platti was really good, the lamb chops secondi even better. Ambiance is great and service on the mark serving a mixted local and travelling clientele. Highly recommended if you want an authentic umbrian experience.

The menu is limited and so there is little choice.  Some dishes were good, others like the vegetarian main course, disappointing to say the least.  For the price paid, you can get much better choice of good quality food and better value for money  from other restaurants in the city.
