Ordered a pizza and what I got was two 16" pies cooked together as one and served on two pizza plates that spanned across our entire table! It's a thin crust so you can eat more than you think but I was defeated in the end. At first we thought we ordered wrong (given the language barrier) but as we looked around the restaurant we saw everyone else being served the same without blinking an eye. The craft beer was delicious and they have an impressive selection to choose from. I enjoyed their wheat ale and the triple!
Visited here on our last night in Perugia to have a large family meal Upon arriving we where greeted by a waiter and told that a table would be ready asap We didnt have to wait long as we stood about in the micro brewery Once we where lead to our table, that was it We where sat in a corner and had to wait almost 25 mins before we even had our drinks order taken, all the while there where staff shuttling past our table and not taking any notice of us It was a very busy night so you could be forgiven for a slight delay But eventually it took for one of my aunts to actually stop a waiter and ask for our order to be taken So 40 mins pass since sitting down and we get our drinks but we are still waiting on our starters The two fried combos appear after an hour and i can honestly say i was disappointed in what we got It was just two big plates of fries with a scattering of cheap, deep fried breaded things Onto the main meals And i can safely say they where the biggest and possibly the best pizzas i have had-Ever They where fantastic and the choice on the menu was great as well The veal steak as also fantastic But again we had issues with the service, some of the group got their pizzas and others didnt so again we had to stop and ask the head waiter what was going on with our order this lead to most of the group moving onto desert whilst another member was still waiting on their main meal This put a bit of a dampener on the visit for all of us as we where all looking forward to it The decor and atmosphere inside was great, food was great Just a shame that the service ruined it for all of us driving home with 5 unhappy Italians is never a good way to end a night :p
The new guys who take this restaurant are really good and funny. Good pizza, the biggest in Perugia. Good price. Good beer.
We had dinner on the outside terrace, and although the place was packed, the service was qick and impeccable! I had the bufalo mozzarella and grilled vegetables, and my husband the chicken and roasted potatoes, everything was delicious and beautifully presented! When we paid the bill we also had two amaro on the house! We'll come back soon to try the giant pizza!
