I had one night in Philly and was pleased we chose The Oyster House. We enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, oyster rockefeller and fried calamari. All of it was delicious! Drinks were great as well. Loved the ambiance too!
Went for happy hour and indulged in the best oysters ever. Oyster shelling is done from 5pm to 7pm, don't miss it, it's awesome, our server is Todd, he is great, but the whole staff is amazing and the restaurant is very well run. Like the restaurant owner and manager.
Please remember that the happy hour is between 5 pm and 7 pm on weekdays. Not only are there discounts on drinks, but oysters and clam are also one yuan each! The first time I went there was the first time I ate raw clam. It was fatter than oysters and saltier than raw oysters! Although I am allergic to seafood, for such delicious seafood, take medicine after eating.
As soon as I heard the name of oyster house, I knew that I was eating oysters. As a poor man, I came to eat it again during happy hour. It’s a great deal, and it’s super cost-effective. I came directly for a dozen, or two types, this time it’s me. It was the first time I ate this kind of raw oysters, but I was not so used to eating them. It looked very cruel, and it was accompanied by soda crackers. The soup is terrific, a big bowl of 8 dollars, can't buy it, and can't buy it. It's really thick and full of lobster. Crab cake is also a special dish. It seems to be available in American restaurants. Crab meat is shredded. It is good if someone else makes crab cakes. But if you eat too much crab meat, you can’t finish it. There are side dishes, but it can relieve the greasiness. You can eat more than 100 RMB per capita. It’s really big. Although sitting at the bar, you can still watch the chef knock on the oysters. It’s pretty good.
Although I eat very little, I still have to give it five stars, because people who like it really like it.
