The Philippines is a land of a thousand islands and each has its own characteristics. Boracay is known for its fine white sand beaches and spectacular sunsets. Bohol sits on an underwater fault where large schools of fish dance among the corals. Palawan’s otherworldly landscapes are enchanting and make El Nido a great place for a romantic holiday. The shipwrecks in Coron Bay are a playground for divers, as are the many smaller islands with their own majestic underwater worlds.

Church
A true merging of traditional Catholic architecture, modern influences and Philippine culture, the Manila Cathedral in Manila, Philippines, offers a melting pot of faith and art. The current cathedral was erected in 1958 in the same spot as once stood the original church, decimated during the Philippine Battle of Liberation in 1945. The cathedral was created by world renown architect Fernando Ocampo, and, though it encapsulates many of the original's qualities, the church also displays many modern influences. Once inside, you discover that the heart of it is quite majestic in it's Philippine nature, making the Manila Cathedral a must see.
