Many people would choose to take a taxi or a TUTU car when they come to Phnom Penh night market, but you don't know that there is a kind of transportation that can also reach Phnom Penh, which is also the bus in Phnom Penh. The process of waiting for the bus is very painful, but when everyone walks into the night market and sees one stall after another and one after another delicious food, I believe everyone can't help but like it. Especially when the setting sun goes down, the lights have not been fully turned on. With the light of the setting sun, the pictures taken will be more beautiful.
The night market in Phnom Penh is also a weekend night market, so it is not available every day. The night market is open from 17:00 to 23:00 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Bustling crowds are everywhere in and around the night market. The Phnom Penh Night Market is like a larger rural market in my country. It mainly includes clothing department stores, decorations, handicrafts, and a snack area. The middle part is a small stage with actors performing. The snack area is quite distinctive. There are no table stools. They sit and eat on the floor, similar to a picnic.
This is definitely a market for the locals. We were looking for souvenirs and found nothing. There is live music and that was nice.
After you have been through Asia a lot of things blend into each other. Night Markets are the same. You start to look for the difference, whats sets this market from the others. Well this one is just like all the others. Plenty of goods and food. Worth going but don' expect anything great.
Buzzing night markets that sell alot of stuff including a few rows of food. Good bargains here
The night market is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. One of the more eclectic markets I've been too. They have a wide variety of Khmer food such as frogs, snakes and tarantulas. Lots of jewelry and clothing can be found here, this a great place to walk around if you aren't wanting to spend any more. You won't get hastled here as much as most places which makes the viewing more enjoyable.
