Phu Quoc Island,Recommendations
Vietnam's super value for money hotel, located in Long Beach's high-value holiday paradise
Fuguo Island's Novotel is our first hotel to come to Phu Quoc Island, located on the long sandy beach of Phu Quoc Island. The high-star resorts of Phu Quoc Island are located on the beach and offer a full range of enjoyable and relaxing island vacations. Although the location is not convenient, there are no facilities around, but the hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from Yangdong Town and the Pearl Park in the north. However, when the number of guests is large, the shuttle bus is very tight and needs to be booked in advance. If you take a taxi to the town, it will be around 12W.
The hotel has just opened in 15 years, all the hardware facilities are new, the design is also full of fashion, in line with the modern aesthetic taste. The hotel is luxurious in appearance and interior, and the price is very high. Although the hotel's rooms are quite satisfactory, the public areas of the hotel, just two large infinity pools, are enough to catch your eye. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the beach from the guest room, and the garden scenery on the way is beautifully designed. The modern glass fence and the natural wild lotus pond make it shine, and a small villa is dotted with it. The road on the beach is already a visual enjoyment. Especially the beachside, through the coconut tree shadow, you can enjoy the blue water of the long beach, it is a very holiday-like picture. The
brown and black lobby is a favorite of the high-star hotel, elegant and luxurious. The hotel's all-day dining restaurant is great, although not large, but the breakfast buffet is very rich, and I still miss the Vietnamese drip coffee. In addition to some intrinsic breakfast items, Vietnamese specialty rice noodles and Vietnamese drip coffee are also available, and Vietnamese rice noodles are different every day and are very delicious.

Phu Quoc Prison
Phu Quoc Island Prison, remembering history and not forgetting the past
In the Vietnam War, Phu Quoc Island was once the place where the South Vietnamese regime specifically held North Vietnamese and Vietnamese prisoners. The notorious Prudential Prison has held more than 40,000 prisoners. The prison has been rebuilt. The museum is for future generations to visit. There are many life-like models in the prison to show you the life situation and the type of torture of the prisoners. It is really a immersive feeling in the country. It is a cultural attraction worthy of a visit on Phu Quoc Island. Here you can feel the cruelty of war. Visitors can go back to the route of prisoners who escaped from prison. The feeling of leaving the tunnel is really to regain freedom. The concentration camp surrounded by
three-layer barbed wire consists of a simple, iron house about half a meter high from the ground. Follow the passage in the barbed wire and pass through the gate to enter the concentration camp. The statues in each barracks tell you the past in the past. For prisoners of war, how to escape from here, from freedom is the hope of continuing to live. The Vietnamese recreated the horror of the Shura hell at the time with some sculptures that were not so lifelike. The prisoners who were abused by various means were still shocking. Humiliation and resistance to rebirth are the two most emphasized themes here.
It can't be said that it is suitable for everyone to visit, especially those who want to come to Phu Quoc Island for a relaxing holiday. But the scars of history are indelible, and only pray for peace in the world. Today's Phu Quoc Island has become a seaside holiday paradise, hoping that the tragedy of the past will never repeat itself.
