The park is big and quiet, we spent half day there and it''s a good place to escape from the city.
We got to the park by the trolley lines that run out from the French quarter. The park has a gorgeous scenery and it''s pretty large.
this is a most beautiful peaceful park i have ever been. A good place to spend a few hours walking around and relaxing.
I really like this place, quiet and beautiful. You can have a good rest away from the noisy French Quarter.
The park provides many quiet places. With the children, I rented a kayak and enjoyed paddling in the shade of the ancient and beautiful oak trees, surrounded by the beautiful carvings of the Katz Statue Garden. Then visit the art museum in the city park. People with hobbies in collecting are very welcome. Already called for pies in the morning. A great day. highly recommended.
