Longxing Temple is located at the north entrance of Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province. It was originally named "Dakong Temple" in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (337). The temple was expanded by Zen Master Zhigong in the second year of Emperor Wu Yongding (558), and the second year of Emperor Wu Zetian (691) The name was changed to "Dayun Temple", and the edict was "Longxing Temple" in the sixth year of Kaiyuan reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (718). In the fifth year of Huichang of Tang Wuzong (845), the temple was abandoned as a leisure place. In March of the following year, Wuzong died and Xuanzong succeeded. In the second year of Dazhong (848), it was predicted that the Zen master would rebuild Longxing Temple. It covers an area of more than 80 acres, with four main halls, multiple side halls, more than 100 statues, more than 100 resident monks, and more than 150 houses. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the King of Burma presented a jade Buddha, the King of India gave the relic "Bay Ye", and the Japanese gave the Tripitaka. The ancient temple was famous for its real body relic pagoda of Sakyamuni Buddha.

Longyin Temple is said to be one of the eight scenic spots in Kongtong, but in fact it is far away from the city. It is best to come here by car. If you use public transportation, you can take the tourist bus to the Pingliang City Museum. Walk up to mid-levels.

Longyin Temple, also known as Xingjiao Temple. It is located on the Longwei Mountainside 35 kilometers west of Pingliang City, Gansu Province. Built in the Han Dynasty. According to legend, during the "Anshi Rebellion" in the Tang Dynasty, Tang prince Li Heng once took refuge here. Later Li Heng became the emperor, so the temple was renamed Longyin Temple.
