Pingtan Island is the largest island in Fujian Province and the fifth largest island in the country. This island is the closest place from mainland China to Taiwan. It takes two hours to drive the entire highway from Fuzhou. Pingtan Island has the most beautiful island road in the country, and even the roads are shot in blockbusters. Walking all the way and stopping all the way, it brought me a lot of surprises. Attractions: 1️⃣Haitan Ancient City, the country’s largest ancient city on the island; 2️⃣Aoqian Wharf: Many fishing boats, large and small, are docked here. It is a trading place for Shanghai’s products on Pingtan Island. There are also many fishermen selling small seafood, nearby restaurants can be Processing. 3️⃣China’s Longqi Town, with authentic villages, local belief in Poseidon, and unique island scenery. 4️⃣Longfengtou Beach: There are not only beaches, but also sand sculptures and beaches. 5️⃣ Shangjing Village, the oldest village, rows of stone houses are very distinctive, built right by the sea. Pingtan Island is a place worthy of in-depth visits, and there are many scenic spots that are not checked in, especially in the evening to see Blue Tears💧.
Watching the sunrise and sunset on Pingtan Island, the scenery at dusk is really beautiful. The island still retains a large area of original island architecture, graceful and elegant, the sky is bluer and the sea is bluer, attracting a large number of tourists to vacation every summer.
We stayed here two nights during Natuonal Day break. We were hoping to get some beach time but all the ebqches were closed for cleaning.
Beautiful island with lovely beach and windmills. Pingtan is seafood heaven and fishball is a must try dishes
