Playa del Carmen or playa, originally a small fishing town in Mexico has flourished into a boho-chic touristic destination with luxury hotels, restaurants, and boutiques. Located in Riviera Maya on the Caribbean coast of Mexico with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters, you can clearly see the colorful sea life.
#holidayvacation 3D museum in Playa Del Carmen, the paintings in there are high quality and the vistual effect is great, however the museum is kind of small for the price (30 usd)
#holidayvacation Xcaret park is by far the best amusement park I have visited, it is a bit pricey (over 100 USD) but imho, it's worth it! The park is huge with a lot of things to do, sadly we only spent one day there so we probably only tried half of the thing in there. If you are not tight on budget, you can also book hotel Xcaret to get unlimit pass on all Xcaret parks (Xenses, Xavage etc)
Playa del Carmen is mostly known for its beaches, parties and giant resorts. But there's the whole other side of the city. It's a great hub for independent travelers with many things to do in and around.
Fantastic tour with Raul our guide. Very knowledgeable about Mayan culture and very pleasant man. It’s worth the travel. My husband made it right to the coba.
I canceled several trips this year due to Covid-19 and was starting to feel trapped. My feelings of wanderlust and desire to explore were being trampled by this horrible virus and the travel restrictions that followed. Being an RN and frontline healthcare worker dealing directly with Covid-19 positive patients I really needed a break. I decided to book a trip using trip.com and headed to Mexico for some amazing scuba diving and fun adventures in the beautiful Cenote’s located on the Yucatán. This was the escape I needed and have now returned to once again help those in need and hopefully save some lives. #awesomepic #mynovgetaway #rn #frontlineworkers #diving
#tripaway Some of the photos taken at our recent trip to Hotel Xcaret in Mexico! Be sure to check out all of their included parks, like Xcaret, Xel-ha, and Xplor with your stay!
