During our self-driving journey from Sydney to the Gold Coast, we lived in this small town for a night. It was less than 17 o'clock when I arrived, the town was not very populated, and the town center was quite lively. The place where we live is close to the seaside park, clean and tidy green grass, unknown seabirds swim in the water, and yachts in the distance berth and swing with the wind. The stones on the bank are full of graffiti, and the car camp is full of vacation vehicles. We not only saw the beautiful sunset, but also enjoyed the morning sunrise and the people surfing. Although it was only a short night, I fell in love with it.
Port Macquarie is a peaceful harbor. There is a graffiti stone road on the shore. A row of cottages are on the shore. Motels are quiet and beautiful. Located between Sydney and Brisbane, this seaside is one of the favorite holiday destinations for Australians.
If you come to Port Macquarie, please go to this place to check in. Recently, during a business trip in Port Macquarie, I was dizzy the first two days. I finally solved some trivial matters two days in advance. I hope that it can be completely resolved in these two days. Relax and go home easily! A local friend told me that the Hastings River is not to be missed, so I made an appointment with my colleagues! [I can't see the side at a glance] The Hastings River is in the north of Port Macquarie. Its surface is so wide that you can't see the side at a glance! Although there are many pedestrians coming and going on the river bank, the surrounding environment is particularly tidy and the breeze is blowing, it is very pleasant! The river water is azure blue, and you can smell the sweet smell of the river when you walk along the river, which is very suitable for leisure walks. There were also people playing in the river with a rowing boat, and they were in a good mood looking at it! [Innovative graffiti] The stones on the embankment are very unique, a graffiti stone road, and the color design on each stone is super innovative, which shows the artistic conscience of the people in this city. There is also a row of motels, very suitable for taking pictures outside the hotel, the filming rate is very high! We travel by boat for a fee. If you have enough time, you can have a picnic on the grass on the riverside. Cycling is also a very good idea! You can also set up a tent in this place for the night, so that you will not miss the sunset and the early morning sunrise! If you have the opportunity to come to this place, really don't miss this good place for stress relief and relaxation!
We took the 2 hour sunset cruise from the town wharf last night with Port Jet and it was great. We saw Dolphins and a georgous sunset. They provide pizza, fruit and ice cream. They also have a lice...
What a stunning view of this magnificent river. Dolphins were seen as was small sting rays and plenty of mullet in the water. Good place to watch the sunrise or sunset also.
We stayed in our van right by the Hastings River and every day the dolphins swam up the river, playing about. It was lovely to watch. We also saw a turtle one day too. Very clean and a lovely view.
There are only three ways to get to the north shore of the Hastings River at Port Macquarie. The first is via the Pacific Highway to Kempsey then to Crescent Head then head to Point Plummer by a grave...
Take the ferry over the river to the north beach. Not heaps to see but worth it for the experience. North beach is wild / desolate and beautiful.5 minute and 5 dollar ferry ride for vehicles.
