very windy but a great view
This is a small lighthouse in Port Macquarie, but the scenery is really infinitely good. The local old people like to bask in the winter sun most. It’s really comfortable. Looking at the ocean, if you are lucky, you can see whales here. It will really make you very excited.
Self-driving from Sydney to Brisbane, how to choose attractions along the way, my experience is that it is best not to miss the lighthouse. Maybe the lighthouse itself is not exciting enough, but the sea view where the lighthouse is located is definitely worth enjoying. Look at the description on the sign. It is one of the five oldest lighthouses in New South Wales and is still in use. What's interesting is that it has been lit by kerosene until it switched to electricity in 1972.
Port Macquarie is still worth going. It’s beautiful for a walk on the beach and sometimes you can see flocks of dolphins. It’s super cute and it’s not far from downtown Sydney. It’s very convenient
Don’t miss the TACKING POINT lighthouse and taste the ocean scenery. Actually coming to Australia, in addition to the city’s scenery and architecture, probably the most worth watching is the ocean scenery. Looking for a harbour lighthouse, the twilight early morning or quiet afternoon, there are different tastes and scenery. After doing many strategies, I finally decided to take a look at the taking point lighthouse to get a glimpse of the ocean scenery. [Charming of the lighthouse] Taking point lighthouse has a very long history in Australia. What attracts me is that the lighthouse lives on a steep cliff with a very good view. After entering the viewing platform of the lighthouse, I was directly greeted by the endless magnificent ocean. The ocean goes out to be magnificent, and there is a different kind of taste, and groups of dolphins come out of the water, lovely and gratifying. The sea breeze mixed with fresh air blowing on the cheeks, the twilight gradually approached. I thought it was the end of the journey, but saw a shocking scene. The whales jumped out of the water and the huge body intuitively felt the tolerance and shock of the ocean. Seeing whales here can bring good luck. The coffee and food at the Pernos restaurant on the beach are also very well made and taste great. Until the end, I still feel that the meaning is still not enough, it is a worthwhile trip. [TIPS] Attraction address: 2444 Beacon Road, Port Macquarie, New South Wales Ticket information: Free play time Recommended: nights and afternoons when the weather is better, I have written all this in the talk unknowingly, I hope to read it later Can recall the beauty here. If friends have the same intention, you can ask me in the comments~

Magnificent views of this part of the coast. We went there as the starting point of our coastal walk and were taken by the panoramic views of the sea, the stone formations and the coast. Not advisable...
During our visit the sun was out, the view was Spectacular , and our camera was Flat Out trying to Capture it all
No access, and limited fences make it breathtaking and potentially dangerous, especially with teenagers. But the views are spectacular. Easy access to lighthouse beach.
