I don&#39;t rate many fives. This meal deserved it. The service was flawless. The house salad was fresh, tasty, and had a wonderful dressing which I had on their recommendation. The salmon soup was the incredible...better than the best lobster bisque I&#39;ve ever tasted. The broiled plaice was very good. The salmon entree even better. Chocolate mouse excellent...red berry gruetz with vanilla ice cream even better. Wine list varied with superb quality at reasonable(by American standards) prices. We&#39;ll come back if we ever visit Potsdam again.

As a Potsdam resident I&#39;ve been there several times, mostly in summer. The garden is great and to have a beer with nice Bavarian snacks is highly recommendable. Quite the opposite the duck I had once was not to my taste, not crisp and a bit boring. Overall it is a good place to go to if you like Bavarian food.

What a beautiful, cozy restaurant! Very relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and a very nice waitress. This is a vegetarian restaurant that also offers several vegan options, some even gluten-free. All their ingredients are organic. Hubby had a vegetarian tortilla with &quot;Kraeuterquark&quot;, (kind of cottage cheese/cream cheese dip with lots of herbs) and leafy greens, topped with a superb dressing and white beans for more protein. He loved it, although he is a carnivore. Because it was so filling he skipped dinner later that evening. I had a lovely vegan vegetable strudel, also with salad greens and white beans and a very flavorful soy yogurt dip. As I was quite hungry I finished with an excellent vegan chocolate cake cum chicory &quot;coffee&quot; with soy milk. The soy milk was made from soybeans grown in the south of Germany and tasted so much better than the ordinary stuff you get in the supermarkets. The young waitress was very charming and all smiles when she received a tip. If this place was in my town I would be a regular. Next time in Potsdam we will definitely return.

In a bustling town of Potsdam, this restaurant serves very good fish dinners. Housed in an old building that was destroyed in 1945 and completely remodeled. A very good choice for dinner in Potsdam.
