The hot chocolate is just the right thickness and darkness. By itself, it is not too sweet, which is perfect. It comes with sweet cream to add in to make it a little more milky and sweeter. It&#39;s great with and without the cream! The chocolate cake we had was dry and nothing compared to the hot chocolate. The location is in the Dutch quarter, which was pretty in itself. Definitely save space for hot chocolate if you visit Potsdam!

Fine dining only a couple blocks from the Mercure Hotel. We ordered off the specials menu on the chalkboard. The fresh fish was filleted at the table. The Riesling wine was great. The service was impeccable.

We found this adorable restaurant just walking the streets in the Dutch area. The day was a perfect Fall day so we sat outside. The service was ideal, the lunch was extremely tasty and fast. Dining outside with other restaurants along the street can be noisy but today, everyone was talking in nice quiet voices so dining was a pleasure! No one on their mobile phones, no one laughing like hyenas, no one shouting at their children. Pure delight! The lunch was probably one of our BEST Thai meals ever! I had a fabulous fried chicken liver apple salad (I know.... but it was incredible!) with a hint of cilantro and lemon grass. Spouse had Chicken Curry soup in coconut mild, noodles and carrots that he found superb! I would highly recommend and the price was right!

About 15 years ago we visited Potsdam and had an unforgettably delicious cup of hot chocolate at Maison du Chocolat. I went back this week, and assumed my memory might not match reality - but I&#39;m happy to report this restaurant is still producing the best hot chocolate I&#39;ve encountered. It isn&#39;t part of the chain you might have encountered elsewhere in Europe, btw. It is situated in the charming streets of the Dutch quarter in Potsdam. Together with Potsdam&#39;s other delights, this restaurant makes it worth the trip from Berlin.

Sadly didn&#39;t have the hot chocolate...wrong time of day for us for such indulgence but we saw it and it looked good! Good brunch in nice location. Sat outside in the sun, value was good.

Came for dinner with a colleague and while I thought the menu was limited, the food was very good and the service friendly and pleasant. Must say the place was empty for a Friday evening at around 7 PM. This restaurant is a short walk from the touristy shops and area of Potsdam in an Amsterdam looking setting. We did not order any of the desserts or chocolates but they did look great!
