gzh***05This is known as the Grand Canyon of Texas and the second largest canyon in the United States. It is located in northwestern Texas, close to the city of Amarillo. The canyon passes through the Panhandle Center in the south of Amarillo and is about 60 miles long. It is 20 miles wide and about 244 meters deep. It is spectacular with its complex geological formations and steep, colorful walls. Today, this park caters to the needs of horse riders, of which more than 1,500 acres are dedicated to equestrian trails. But even if it’s not a cowboy, it’s a worthwhile trip: the huge park covers 17,000 acres, the Longhorn longhorns and other wild animals grazing on the edge of the canyon are very interesting. Friends who come here can choose to camp or rent a wooden house~
