U Zlate Konvice It is a restaurant in Prague, Czech Republic. The environment is comfortable and elegant, and the band plays, while tasting the food, and edifying the sentiment. German pig's elbow is delicious.
The restaurant is in a very good location, just opposite the astronomical clock in the Old Town Square of Prague, and needs to walk a flight of stairs to the ground. There is a very handsome waiter standing at the ground stairs to lead guests.
The interior of this cellar restaurant is also unique and has a very mysterious feeling of adventure.
We ordered roast duck, smoked salmon, pig's elbow, and a drink called Ginger ale.
The service attitude is very gentle, the atmosphere is good, the mood is good, everything is very good, the food naturally tastes very delicious.
The store is in the basement, the interior decoration is like a cave, and display many animal tags and fur, but don't know if it is. Their things are very sufficient, a big can't finish, but the pork taste general, taste too light to eat pork flavor.
The staff was friendly. Washroom was on the level half-way down the dining area.A lively group of musicians was performing, inviting us to join them with jolly songs and romantic oldies. We had a great time singing with them.
This place was convenient and easy to find. It''s located behind the stalls fronting the Astronomical Clock, in an ancient stone-walled cellar.
A lovely cellar setting with live music. Yes it''s a bit ''touristy'' but there was a good convivial atmosphere. We found the service to be very good and our food from the grill was beautifully cooked and served.
The food was ok, not great, but ok. Beer very good, but then, difficult NOT to get good beer in the Czech Republic!
We ate here with a large group traveling together, and arrangements had been made in advance for the evening. It is an interesting restaurant, in decor, but I found the servers to be somewhat haughty, maybe even arrogant. It was almost like they were being bothered to take care of a large group.
