180 kroner is a good ticket for a person to come in and accept the influence of art. Europeans'art and culture are really abstract, but very close to life. Visitors feel that they are all engaged in art. Those who engage in counterfeit art like me can only take pictures.

Very good place worth a visit!
Dox is a very progressive and independent center of contemporary art. It's a unique and alternative cultural center that holds a lot of exhibitions and other events with wide themes from art to current events. Their goal is to offer original perspective on today's world through alternative art. Check out their English website for information about the program but usually whatever is happening there is interesting and worth seeing. It's easy to get there just take a tram to Ortenovo náměstí (no. 24) or metro to Nádraží Holešovice.
This is probably the best contemporary art venue in Prague. Located in the industrial Holesovice district, Dox is a beautiful space converted from old factory buildings. Visiting is like checking out 2 or 3 museums; there's always a variety of things going on. There's no permanent exhibition, rather curators arrange thematic group shows with both Czech and non-Czech photographers, graphic artists, sculptors, painters and more. Dox also has a cafe with a fabulous terrace plus an excellent design shop - you don't need to buy a ticket to visit either of these.
a bit out of the city centre but well worth it. it's got a rooftop patio which is lovely as it looks out onto some wonderful sculptures. the store has really interesting pieces as well. there's also a small cafe which families enjoy quite a lot
