This restaurant is located in the El Centro area of Vallarta near the beach. The seating is "different" as it is a small area. We chose to sit on the back terrace, where there are about 6 tables. The menu is diverse with both authentic German and Italian choices. All four of us enjoyed each meal that we ordered even though it took awhile to get our meal. Everything is made to order from fresh food. The Russian beet soup was wonderful and so were the cutlets. We enjoyed a delicious bottle of Chilean red wine. This is one restaurant to which we definitely will return and bring friends who also live here.
Several of us dined at Heidelberg and found the food to be excellent. However, we were the only people in the restaurant and it took over 1-1/2 hours to get served...way too long. On top of that one person in our party had his meal served to him before the rest of us and was finished eating before our meals were served.
food was ok we were the only people and it took so long and then we all our food came out different times i felt abandoned
