Explore Corcovado National Park 🌴Corcovado National Park and enjoy the natural beauty Corcovado National Park Corcovado National Park is located on the Osa Peninsula in southwest Costa Rica. It covers an area of 42,560 hectares and has a large number of wildlife. It is a very rugged, quiet and small tourist destination. The peninsula is not easy to reach, but your efforts will be rewarded with desolate beaches, lots of wildlife, great hikes, camping and lots of marine life. This is one of the best places in Costa Rica. When visiting the park, you can choose between a day trip or a multi-day tour. We decided to spend the night here, experience the feeling of sleeping in the heart of the jungle and take a look at the park at night. We found a travel agency in the local area and they got a permit and arranged our accommodation for us. The process was a bit cumbersome, the accommodation was handled by the local association, who would provide you with meals and maintain the accommodation. Overnight stays are equipped with bunk beds, sharing a shared space with other visitors, each with a private mosquito net.
