Houhuangcun

Houhuang Village is the "First Overseas Chinese Village" in Licheng, Putian. There are many relatives of overseas Chinese. The ancestral home of the former world badminton champion, Indonesian star Lin Shuijing, is in the village. Houhuang Village is small, basically the same as other surrounding villages, and the buildings are mainly red brick houses with Puyang local architectural style. In recent years, Houhuang Village has made great efforts to create characteristic tourism resources and vigorously promote pastoral sightseeing and agricultural activities. The villagers also arranged some idle houses as "Putian Folk Museum", "Puyang Family Rules and Family Training Museum", "Red Memory Museum", "Republic of China Past Events", etc. to learn about local folk customs and customs. The most beautiful place in the village is the "Zhiqiu Lake". The lake is full of lotus flowers and a green landscape trail has been built around the lake. It is a small park in the village. The villagers of Xiaxie Village introduced today basically live in the suburban area.
