The Karma Temple, the full name of "Karma Dansa Temple", is located in a quiet valley at the foot of the Baixi Mountain about 120 kilometers upstream of the Dhaqu River in Karo District. The Karma Temple was founded in 1185 by Songchenpa, the eminent monk of the Kagyu Sect. It is the ancestral monastery of the Kagyu Sect. The Karma Kagyu is also named after it. The Karma Temple has a long history, with three spiritual pagodas and unique architectural styles. It has the architectural style carefully designed and constructed by the craftsmen of Tibetan, Han, Naxi and other ethnic groups and Nepalese (now Nepal). There are a large number of cultural relics in the monastery. On the wall, there are paintings of the living Buddhas of Karma.
In the blue and white clouds, there appeared a temple, that is, the Karma Temple, a typical Tibetan culture. Tourists-be sure to take a look,...otherwise they will travel to Tibet, and the Buddha statues in the temple will come alive. ! ! !
This attraction is awesome, the whole family went there together, everyone played very high, definitely five-star recommendation. Karma Temple is a small temple, only 2.3 kilometers away from Lhasa. The day I went there happened to be a festival (the name can't be remembered). The joyous crowd, the solemn Buddha statue, and the long-winded solemnity. By the way, I asked for a batch of Karmapa's objects.
Although not many people know the founder of the Kagyu ancestral temple, it is indeed an important one in history. The second line is now open to traffic in Karma Township, so there is no need to walk into it.
