The Sui Dynasty era Haidao Jinshan Temple is located to the west of Fenshuiwang village, Qingyun County, Shandong province. In 2003, Qi Shuping, a proud disciple of one of the world's ten great Buddhist masters, Jing Kong, led the restoration and reconstruction of the temple. The new Haidao Jinshan Temple is located to the north of the county seat and on the south side of the North Ring Road. Taking Mountain Gate, Tianwang Hall and Daxiongbao Hall as the central axis, the Nianfo Hall, Bell Tower and Abbot Building are spread out in the wings of the complex. There are many Qianlong-era historical treasures in the temple, including a Tripitaka Sutra, The Imperial Catalogue of the Siku Quanshu and the Bodhi Scriptures. The Shakya Muni Buddha statue is about 8 meters high and is one of the the largest indoor statues of Shakya Muni in the whole of China.
