Beijing Escape | Qinhuangdao | Lonely Library

This is a nice weekend escape from Beijing - around 2hr15 ride on the fast speed train. The library and church are actually part of the Aranya resort and is located on the beach front of the resort. You can chose to stay in the resort or can also stay outside and pay only to enter the library area . I stayed outside and payed an entrance fee. However I would really recommend booking a room and staying in Aranya. You can’t really swim in the sea but the resort seems to have its own pool, restaurant and even a livehouse. Also if are able to avoid the holiday periods - you can actually get some nice deals at Aranya. #chinatravel #wecreate #beijing

I am writing my first post today. this is about our recent trip to this lovely small city of Beidaihe , Neat Beijing. we did our two Nights and three days trip during recent october National day holidays. As it was a first long major holiday after COVID-19. So it was special but on the same time it was so called risky. we decided not to go far from Bejing and after doing some research on trip.com decided to visit this place. This city and it's attraction are wonderful. we really enjoyed the beach , Greate wall, fun filled evening , Photos , drinks .. and yes delicious Seafood. it was not a regular turist place hence was very nice crowd.. not too many people though it was National holiday Trip.com has provided very accurate information about this city . I used trip.com attraction list and used it like a google to roam around . it's amazing .. keep adding more and more information as possing .. we are looking forward to visit this place again in summer so that my kids can also enjoy bath in clean sea water . please comment if you like my some of the pics I clicked during this trip .

I can SEA you

An amazing getaway from Beijing. I try to go once a year to the beach nearest to the capital and I love to go in may before the crowds start coming. The weather is not that warm in may but I just love to feel the sand under my feet. This time we drove a car to Aranya. It took about 3 hours each way. As an alternative you can take a train from Beijing to Beidaihe or Qinhuangdao train station, they are not so far apart and from the station it’s very easy to take a taxi or DiDi. Aranya is a closed community with hotels, apartments, restaurants, shops, cinema and you need to live in one of the hotels or go to an event to be able to get access to enter. Once inside it is so amazing nice. The beach stretch is quite long and you can find a church, library and bars along the beach. As we entered we had lunch at HE Kitchen before heading to the beach. In the evening we had shake shack however there are multiple options for food if you want to explore. Laolongtou or Old Dragon Head is the end of the Great Wall. Meeting the sea it was rebuilt in 1987 and it had been destroyed during the war. I stayed in Qinhuangdao and drove about 40 mins here. worth the drive and was a great day trip. #summervacation#beachvacation

Watching the sunrise at Dove Nest, it's absolutely beautiful. It's a must-visit spot for photography. The sunrise in winter is around 7:20. The park opens at 6:40, and there was a long line at the entrance. Seeing the pink clouds, I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to catch the sunrise because the gate opened too late. Because it's a long walk after entering. But actually, it was just in time. It's just not very ample. The sunrise is fleeting, so you need to do some homework before shooting. There are two shooting spots, one is by the coast, the other is at the pavilion on the corridor. Both are good.
