Yu Yi Master (1880-1942) is commonly known as Li Shutong, Zhejiang Jiaxing Pinghu everyone, born in Tianjin, art educator, a generation of high monks. The master of "20 articles in the sea" is full of talent, including poetry, words, calligraphy and painting, engraving, music, drama and literature.

Master Hongyi, commonly known as Li Shutong, is full of legendary colors in his life. In the history of cultural development in China for nearly a hundred years, he is recognized as a genius and wizard in the academic circles. He can do everything in poetry, verse, drama, painting, calligraphy and seal carving. Later, he became a monk and a generation of eminent monks, and was regarded as the eleventh generation ancestor of Buddhist disciples. Mr. Zhao Puchu, former president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, commented on the master's life as "endless rare offerings for the world, a full moon shining in the sky" and his story was also filmed in movies and TV dramas. The last 14 years of Master Hongyi's life were practiced in Dakaiyuan Temple in Quanzhou. The Memorial Hall of Master Hongyi is located in Dakaiyuan Temple, Quanzhou.
