Yan Hui is well-known for his virtues. The emperors of the past dynasties have generously given gifts and praises. In the Han Dynasty, Yan Hui worshipped Confucius. Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty was honored as "Xianshi", Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was named "Gong Yan Guo", and the tombstone was erected by Kong Xiangong of Emperor Yansheng in the 24th year (1184) of Jin Shizong (1184), with the inscription "Xianshi Yan" "The Tomb of Guogong", the inscription "Yan Guofusheng Cemetery" in the 26th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1547). The second monument was destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution". According to the Southern Dynasties Ren Fang’s "Shu Yi Ji": "The ancient city of Qufu, there is a tomb of Yanhui, and there are two heather trees on the tomb, which can be around thirty or forty.
