Jebel Jais Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Travel to the UAE - How can you miss the world's longest zipline at Ras Al Khaimah's Jebel Jais peak
The highest peak in the UAE, Jebel Jais is known as the adventure hub of the Middle East, offering a plethora of hiking and mountain biking opportunities for people of all levels and ages. Jebel Jais Mountain is home to the Adventure Park, which leads to attractions such as the Viewing Deck Park, the zipline flight (the world's longest zipline), the Sky Tour (six thrilling ziplines spanning five kilometers), and the Jais Sledder (the region's longest toboggan). UAE travel - if you love outdoor sports, you definitely can't miss this place!
The Ras Al Khaimah Emirate, which values nature and adventure, is famous for its adrenaline-pumping variety of adventurous outdoor experiences - not only does it have the UAE's highest peak, Jebel Jais, but the best part is the world's longest zipline at the summit - with a total length of 2,831.88 meters, nearly three kilometers! Sliding down is just too cool! At the same time, there is another very exciting sport here - a roller coaster, a literal roller coaster - as well as the UAE's highest restaurant, 1484 by Puro.
The Bear Grylls Explorers Camp, the world's first Bear Grylls accommodation, is also located at Jebel Jais and is well worth the experience! Ras Al Khaimah, also known as the Headland of the Small Huts, is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, located in the northernmost part of the UAE - not only does it have seas and deserts, but also mountains. After a four or five-day vacation, I felt a UAE that is very different from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah.

The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Every hotel in Ritz-Carlton is so classic and luxurious. The Ritz-Carlton, Al Wadi Desert is located in the Al Wadi Nature Reserve and is the first protected area of Ras Al Khaimah Beach. This protected area spans 100 hectares of desert and is a paradise for local flora and fauna. The reserve also protected three re-introduced native antelope breeds the sand gazelle, the Arabian gazelle and the endangered Arabian antelope.
The antelope of this hotel is really super! You may meet them at any time in the hotel, just a safari!
The Ritz-Carlton in the Haima Corner of the United Arab Emirates Desert
Tonight, after driving more than 100 kilometers, I checked into the Ritz-Carlton villa hotel in the Haima Corner of the desert, which is like living in a wildlife park in the desert. The Bloody Mary cocktail in picture 5 is considered the "hardest to drink" cocktail in the world. I took a sip, it's not that it's hard to drink, I'm just not used to this taste.
The Ritz-Carlton in Haima Corner exceeded expectations, except for the slightly heavy sand in the desert, the other experiences were quite good!
United Arab Emirates| Al Wadi Desert, a Ritz-Carlton Partner Hotel, fulfills all your wild luxury imaginations of a desert hotel
| Al Wadi Desert, a Ritz-Carlton Partner Hotel, fulfills all your wild luxury imaginations of a desert hotel. This desert resort hotel is really beyond imagination.
First of all, the sofa in the room can be spread into a sofa bed, so our two adults and two children can stay very comfortably.
The activities in the hotel are also very rich, sand surfing, camel riding, falcon watching, everything that should be there.
Each room is equipped with a swimming pool, and you can see antelopes at any time~
The breakfast is also particularly delicious

On the last day in Ras Al Khaimah, move into a two-bedroom overwater pool villa for a stay! This newly opened Anantara has 20 Maldivian-style overwater villas. However, the water level in the lagoon changes with the tide every day, sometimes the glass floor only reveals a shallow layer of water, but having such a holiday destination in the Middle East is still pretty good!

Here, a variety of water sports and leisure facilities are equally dazzling, including infinity pools, a fitness center overlooking the mangroves, table tennis courts, yoga studios, kids' clubs, and teen clubs, as well as various entertainment activities suitable for adults and families. InterContinental Hotels Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The only existing offshore pearl farm and the only mountain fortress in the UAE are all located in Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah, also known as Ras Al Haymah or Ras el-Khaimah, is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates. It is situated at the northernmost point of the UAE. Its name means 'The Top of the Tent' or 'The Cape of the Small Hut'. Not only does it have seas and deserts, but it also boasts mountains, which are truly beautiful! In recent years, the newly opened InterContinental Hotel is a great place to stay for a few days and experience a different side of the UAE, distinct from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah!
The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah also possesses a wealth of historical sites, with over 1,000 archaeological sites and artifacts, including ruins and fortresses. It is the only emirate in the UAE that has four historical sites—Julfar, Shimal, Al Jazeera Al Hamra, and Dhayah—listed on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Among them, Dhayah Fort is the most visited archaeological site in Ras Al Khaimah and a prime example of heritage conservation in the emirate. Built in the 19th century, it is the only remaining hilltop fortress in the UAE, offering a picturesque venue with a dreamlike 360-degree view under the enchanting sunset! Passing through lush palm groves and dramatic mountain ranges that stretch all the way to the sea, this mountain range was formed from sedimentary rocks that originated from an ancient seabed during the Late Cambrian to Early Jurassic period. Subjected to high pressure and temperature during tectonic movements, these rocks metamorphosed and were eventually formed by the folding and uplifting of the earth's crust due to the collision between the Arabian and Eurasian tectonic plates. This makes it an ideal place for geologists and nature enthusiasts to study the history of the Earth and the dynamic processes of our planet.
The island owner's itinerary includes an afternoon boat trip to the Suwaidi Pearls Farm in Ras Al Khaimah to visit and learn about the pearl farming process. This is the only existing pearl farm in the UAE, and it is well known that before the discovery of oil, the people here lived by pearl diving, cultivating date palms, and herding camels. Here, one can experience the collision of traditional Arab pearl diving and modern pearl farming.
The afternoon tea, SPA, and poolside bar cocktails at the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah are amazing
Ras Al Khaimah, also known as Ras Al Haymah or Ras el-Khaimah, is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates. It is located at the northernmost point of the UAE. Its name means 'Cape of the Small Hut' or 'Top of the Tent'. Not only does it have seas and deserts, but also mountains, which are truly beautiful! Staying at the InterContinental hotel that opened in recent years for a vacation and experiencing a different UAE from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah!
Ras Al Khaimah is the northernmost emirate of the United Arab Emirates and was once a famous port. Today, what makes it famous worldwide is the over 60 kilometers of beaches. The Ral Al Khaimah InterContinental Hotel is located on Hayat Island by the water in the Mina Al Arab area. Surrounded by protected coastal wetlands, the hotel has golden beaches on one side and man-made waterways on the other. The hotel has 350 rooms, suites, and cabins, a tranquil spa center, two swimming pools, and several restaurants. The hotel's luxurious private beachfront villas come with private terraces and swimming pools, and I stayed in a villa with a stunning sea view this time.
The entire InterContinental hotel scene is more like a pastoral poem of an island. The SPA experience at the hotel is fantastic, and the afternoon tea at the lobby bar and the cocktails at the seaside pool bar are essential romantic experiences for a holiday! In your spare time, you can also go on an adventure to the highest peak in the UAE, which is also known as the adventure center of the Middle East, offering a plethora of hiking and mountain biking opportunities for people of all levels and ages. At the top of the mountain, there are attractions and activities to experience, such as the observation deck park, the world's longest zip line, and sledding.
