Located on the banks of the Likas Bay, the Sabah City Mosque was built in 1997 and covers a hectare of land. It is a typical contemporary Islamic building and one of the most magnificent mosques in Malaysia. As it is built on the man-made lake in Likas Bay, it feels like it is floating above the water, so it is also known as the floating mosque. The stunning white building contrasts beautifully against the blue sky.  Tips: The reflection is only available in the morning and evening. It is almost 12 MYR from the city to take a taxi to the mosque.
