1933 Laochangfang is located at No. 29 Shaqi Road, Hongkou District, Shanghai. It was originally the Eidiate of the Old Shanghai Ministry of Industry, and it was the largest and most modern slaughter in the Far East at that time. Because the building was completed in 1933, it was called 1933 Laochangfang. Although it is the only fruit of the three same type of slaughterhouses in the world today, the old farm is not particularly outstanding compared to the many centuries-old buildings in Shanghai. It can only be obscured in the old neighborhood for a long time. With the rise of Beijing 798 model and the flowering everywhere, many old factories have been transformed into cultural and creative parks, and the abandoned Eid al-Adha farm that was once snubbed has finally emerged from a cheap warehouse to become a cultural and creative park, becoming a fashion landmark in Shanghai. Into the 1933 old field, this design by the British architectural design master Balfour, with the ancient Roman Brazilian Rican style of old buildings, especially the intricate internal space has left a deep impression. The quadrangle plant, surrounded by four buildings in the southeast and northwest, is connected by stairs to the main 24-sided building in the middle. The whole building is scattered and the corridors are circled, and the design is like a maze, but in a clear order. More than 300 large umbrella columns are evenly distributed in the outer volume of the building square, supporting the majestic building independently. Octagonal and quadrilateral umbrella column hats are one of the most important features of the building, octagonal umbrella column hats are mainly distributed on the west side of the building's periphery, square umbrella column hats are mainly distributed in other parts of the building's periphery. The bridge space is one of the most characteristic features of the building, and its unique charm comes from the mysterious and changing space formed by the light and shadow of the building.
