African Meeting House Review

Hidden in Beacon Hill, a small museum, from the outside looks like an ordinary house, can not guess there is a museum hidden inside. The red brick house is classical and not lost, and it is completely integrated with Beacon Hill Street. The room also contains an African synagogue dating back to 1806, the oldest black church in the United States.

The African Hall was a church before, but it is now a place to show Africans in the history of the United States. The building is not very big, not particularly beautiful, relatively simple, and it displays a lot of historical information about Africans in the United States.

There are quite a lot of black memorial elements in Boston. The African Hall is one of them. It is also a famous building that is not particularly large, but it is quite beautiful. We did not go in to visit the time.

William Lloyd Garrison founded Anti-Slavery Society 1832. Frederick Douglass delivered a famous anti-slavery speech 1860.
