We had dinner here the first night we arrived at the hotel. It was nothing special or memorable. I find the Yachtsman Steakhouse to be much better. I ordered the market fish which was fine. I just did not find it to be particularly exciting or memorable in any way. I have to say that my son's chicken nuggets were pretty good though. The push pop cupcake was very cute.

If you want fresh seafood and steaks this is for you. Tables are a bit close together but you can expect that at Disney. Great bread and salads. Open air atmosphere.

Make no mistake, the food is very good and we had wonderful service both times we ate there. Breakfast was awesome and loved the buffet choices. However, we had lunch and left still hungry. It tastes great, but the portions were small for the price paid. That's where it missed on the value. Beaches & Cream was a much better lunch experience and value.

I ate two meals here at Captains Grille, first the dinner. Our server was very friendly but it took forever for the food to come out and my lamb was under cooked and not very good but my son had the pasta with short ribs and really liked it, also there were dirty dishes next to the two tables near us that were there for most of our long meal, I was not looking forward to breakfast the next day but had reservations and found it was the complete opposite our server was not very friendly but the food came out very fast and was excellent. I had the lemon ricotta hot cakes and they were amazing, I would come back just for those but I would not come back for dinner for the price you paid you can get better somewhere else
